They are not commons and I think the more desirable chips that are not often seen will always fetch a higher price even in this economy. Seems like common 5.00 chips are selling for face and even below face. I won a set of the Gold Strike Cartoons :stop at Jean set delivered at about 3.43 a chip and they are 5.00 uncircs!
