I collect Idaho chips. Many are from clubs operating before gambling was illegalized in the state. However, most I consider illegal, they were from clubs that were not registered with the state. Fraternal club legal statis would depend on the states law-- non profit and whether registration is required, etc. Recently a retirement home in Twin Falls was raided for illegal gambling...don't take anything for granted, "illegal" means against the law, so you would have to check for your your area.
