significance to me...I bought it at the 2008 convention from John Chamberlain. John also had another one, but the blue was a different color, somewhat lighter, almost faded (but it wasn't). My friend, Jay Sands, was curious about the other lighter $5 El Cortez LC but wasn't 100% sure that he was going to buy it. Well, knowing how he loved the El Cortez chips, I happened to mention that chip to Greg Susong while also mentioning that his very good friend, Jay Sands, was also interested in it. Greg immediately went over to John's table, bought the chip & proceeded to put it in his clear convention badge protector pouch that hung around his neck -- and then went looking for Jay!! Every time Greg would pass by, he'd flash me his very visible new acquisition along with his patented smile. And when I would see Greg talking to Jay or in a group of people along with Jay, Greg had to be in front of Jay just make sure he saw it.

Man...do I miss him....
