The other day Archie posted some old pictures of Bruce and people started telling Bruce stories. I’d like to share this with you.

Jodi and I met Bruce Landau shortly after we opened our casino memorabilia store in downtown Reno in 1986. Our store was located in the Reno/Tahoe visitor’s center, along with half a dozen other businesses. Bruce found us, to his delight, when he came to supply a camera shop located right next to us in the center. When we noted how enthusiastic Bruce was in collecting chips, we just turned him loose on our inventory to search to his heart’s content. He reminded us of a little kid that had been turned loose in a candy store. Bruce became a good friend and he never failed to visited us on his West Coast trips, even going out of his way to find us when we moved to Oregon.

He will always be missed by everyone that he touched. He was a good friend to all.
