This is so nice of all of you--what a wonderful gesture! As I visited Legacy.com, it was comforting and refreshing to be reminded how much Greg meant to so many people. Our family is very blessed to count the Chippers as friends.
It's hard to believe Greg's been gone a year on Saturday. His folks will join the kids and I at the cemetery, where we're planning to "anoint" the grave with Dr. Pepper from the Sonic. My money says he'd get kick out it.
Robert's doing well at Wichita State and has just joined the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. I think this is a good thing for him as it gives him a family away from family and some meaningful things to occupy his time (which hopefully won't include a lot of partying!)
Lauren's home on fall break from her job in Omaha as I type. She loves her job and the traveling. The nat'l sorority has provided her a furnished apartment and rental car and more (though the pay is great). Job satisfaction is far more important if your basic needs are taken care of.
Have fun at the memorial tournament!
Love from Carol, Lauren & Robert
