Generally speaking I am not adverse to sniping, however, in conducting these TCB-CLA's it is to the seller's advantage to allow automatic time extensions to the close of an auction based on two or more participants being engaged in a bidding contest. However, in doing so, it somewhat eliminates the ability to snipe.
This is how this new rule will function and it is applicable to the currently running TCB-CLA #1.
An email bid is NOT valid until I get it posted. As I am not on-line continuously, nor in a position to always receive and act upon emails in a timely manner, I do NOT recommend email bidding, especially in the final stages of an auction. Moreover, I will NOT accept any email bids within the final 10 minutes of an auction close, nor during a time extension period of an auction (as further explained below).
Active bidding within 10 minutes of a scheduled close will result in a time extension of that auction such that the new close time will be at the end of 10 minutes of no activity, i.e. no further valid bids.
