Interesting how the layout of numbers fall on the wheel.
With an American wheel, the only two 'numbers' that are neighbors both on the layout and wheel are the 0 and 2, making it ideal to split both just in case the ball should drop out of either; and on the wheel in the shop, the same thing -- which is not the case with a French wheel even though the 0-2 can still be split on the French layout.
