About two years ago, I went down with my Dad. We were walking between casinos on the boardwalk and decided to eat at Johnny Rockets, outside as it was a beautiful day. They also have a take out window open to the board walk. The outdoor seating was gated off and accessible only through the restaurant unless you moved or climbed over the gates. A couple of young guys got take out, stepped over the gates and sat at the table next to us. The waiter came over and explained to them that they could not eat there that the outdoor area was for waiter/waitress service only and that they couldn't stay there and eat the take out. They ignored the waiter and made a few snide comments and you could tell they were looking for trouble so he got the a young Manager or Supervisor, not sure of the position. He walked over to them and asked them to please eat elsewhere and turned to walk away and one of the guys jumped up and sucker punched him right in the face. A brawl started and bodies landed on our table and food. Needless to say, we got out of the way as quickly as possible as my dad was recently out of open heart surgery and I was most certainly no help to anyone. The guys ran off and were later caught down the boardwalk by the police. The Manager/Supervisor looked to have a broken nose. I gave them my name and number for a witness in the event they needed one and left. The birds ate well though as they were all over the food spilled all over the boardwalk in the brawl.
