Running IE-9, I can get the result you are talking about if I set my "zoom" to less than 100%. At 100% or more (the default situation), you don't see the pic to the right of the text. I have my browser window maximized.

Running at smaller "zoom" factor effectively gives you more pixels per screen, so I guess that's what is required in your example.
