Perhaps it relates to the size of your browser window or perhaps to the browser you are using - I'm using the Chrome browser but I get the same result with Firefox. A large image will normally wrap down to the next line but small ones like a chip image usually doesn't. Then there are those giant honking images John occasionally posts that won't even fit in my large window - I have to scroll to see them all.
