her, because I can't seem to find it anywhere in my post. It cracks me up...it was your desire "to make people feel comfortable", yet you make THAT the first response to Diana's post. Seriously???

The "club" is NOT on here daily, but members of the "club" are, including a couple of the BoD members. The 's BoD has no control over anything that is posted on this BB, whether by our members or non-members. You have no idea what the 's stance is on what happens on this BB, so your comment "well it's not our board so I'm sure it won't have any affect on us" is really baseless because you've never been a part of those conversations.

And whom do you want to "stand up"? And to what...or for what? It is not the place of the to do so on this BB. People express their opinions...you don't like it, move on. Someone asks for an opinion on chip values, if they don't like the response, move on. The advice given by Charles Kaplan to the holder of the Playboy chips was spot-on, yet the holder of those chips chose not to agree and moved on. He posted the chips for sale on for his perceived value and got very little interest. Hmmm...maybe Charles was right?

Perhaps more than anyone else in this club, the Membership Officer is aware of both the damage & the benefits created by this BB...I hear it all the time. The overwhelming majority of the time, "newbies" are not treated poorly & actually welcomed quite nicely -- I hear that from new members as well. Have we lost members or potential members because of the cr@p that goes on here?? You betcha...but all we can hope & expect from our members is that they conduct themselves in such a manner to not damage the club or the hobby. And it works -- most of the time.
