I had no intention of twisting any comments, but mearly repeating your exact quotes in hope that you will realize what you have done.

I know that you didnt mean it to come out like it did. We have all said things we didnt really mean, and I have also.

There is no "Kicking someone off the board" for having an opinion. Everyone is entitled to an opinion. However anyone who loves collecting chips and wants to see this hobby succeed, would not have posted the comments that you did. That is my opinion.

I agree with you on the fact that no one would want to become a collector after being abused. That is why that type of actions have to be curbed. Two wrongs dont make a right.

Now as far as your other comments, I need to help clear a few things up.

#1 is that this board is NOT the club. I have said it before and will say it again as it is the truth.
The club has a web site and a board, this is NOT it.
What is said on the chipboard is NOT reflective of the club just as what is said on this chipboard is not reflective of Republicans or Democrats (Both of which are prevalent on this board).

Contrary to your statements, this board is NOT the only reason there is a club. the club was founded long before this board and will remain a club even if this board goes away.

You seem to have an opinion that the club should have taken over this board when Greg passed. Did you realize that this board is and always was privately owned? Has the club ever been asked to purchase ownership of the board? This Board was owned by Greg Susong. The ownership of this board was not ever up for the "Taking" by the club.

While I admit this board is responsable for a lot of new members over the years, so is Chip Talk. Should the club also step in and buy ChipTalk?

Do you even want a board that is owned and operated by the club? Do you think that posts about things like lotto, Birthdays, Poker Stories, Prayer wishes, pictures of grandchildren, Sports Scores or Survivor pools would be allowed on a board operated by the club?

You then ask "How do you expect more members to join your club when they can't be invited to anything the club offers?"

Well, for starters why even offer a club membership if there are no member benefits? We already allow non members access to the club board and tons of data that the club pays for hosting. Did you realize that anyone CAN and does play in the club poker tourneys in Vegas. Anyone who has a day pass to the convention is a member for that day.

Did you realize that anyone who attends the convention can bid in the auction? I personally have sent winning lots to many people who were not members before the convention.

Did you know that anyone can attend the club seminars even if they dont purchase admission to the convention?

What exactly more do you think we should give away?

A perfect example of how this board ir NOT the club is your post to Diana. Your here giving her advice and your not even a member. Are you representing the club?
