Thought you'd enjoy this very cool article "Big Hearted City On A Bald Headed Mountain", by Ray Chesson. It appeared in the Feb. 16, 1964 edition of The NEVADAN and features a lot of great discussion about Willie Martello, the El Rey Club, and Searchlight. Really more of a puff piece than a factual accounting of what when on there, but it is well-written in a classic style of so many writers of the old west.
