While on vacation in the Caribbean earlier this year I had the opportunity to meet the general manager of the Canouan Island Resort (formerly Raffles) on Canouan Island in the Grenadines Islands that lie between St. Vincent and Grenada. There is a casino at the resort run by the Trump organization, called Trump Club Privee (although the chips say Big Point Casino). The island is in the middle of no where, no direct flights from the U.S., and 2 or 3 flights are needed with stop overs in Puerto Rico, St. Vincent or Grenada. The resort is gated, so you just can't walk into the casino, you have to be staying there or be a guest.

The casino was closed when I was there but recently reopened and I was able to get the general manager to send me (20) $1 chips and (5) $5 chips at face value. But the shipping charges wound up costing more than the chips !! Even though these are current chips, there are very few around, because they are so difficult to get. I'll trade the chips for other chips that I need or they are for sale for $3 for a $1 chip, $10 for a $5 chip and $12 for both. Shipping is $1. Only one each per person, I want as many collectors to get them as possible.
