It's either time for our authors/catalogers to make this info available to the chip-collecting community... or simply wait. Regarding the economy -- it has nothing whatsover to do with the value of the $500 chip. Any Playboy collector would have paid well over $1,500 for an example if one had made its way to market.
With the known facts: quantity and proposals made, I think it's time to inform others... and simply adjust those levels should they change.

As a whole, I think the chip-collecting community has been more than fare and polite.
This find was well-broardcast and discussed with the chip-collecting community. It's a done deal... Now cast it i stone...!
