if your doing alot of slides, I'd go with either the 4490 or V500...both come with abobe elements a 90.00 software program. I wouldnt get a scanner for slides without digital ice., which they both have...for scanning prints, any of them

either of those is about the best your going to do unless you spend 2,000.00
