why your chips weren't selling? Most of the comments came along the line that items in your scans / pictures were too small and that your items were over-priced. YOU asked for the comments because your items weren't selling. There's no Chip Board "police" & I don't believe that anyone has asked you to stop posting or to stop trying to sell your chips. I very much doubt that the "happiness" of anyone that visits this BB hinges on the size or quality of your scans or the price of your chips. With regards to the cost of buying a scanner -- they are readily available for $70 to $100, not $1000.
