My wife and I went on a little adventure today, and at an antique store we found a coffee decanter filled to the brim with Las Vegas matchbooks.
I love everything Vegas, and decided to snatch them up just due to their coolness factor - and reading how they advertised their casinos back in the day (Ella Fitzgerald in concert! $25,000 jackpots!).
I assume, like everything Vegas these days, that there is a collectors market out there for things like this. But even if there isn't, I still like them for the same reason I like looking at and reading about old chips and the like.
But that being said, can anyone give me any kind of idea as to potential value? Most of them have all of the matches intact, and I have duplicates of several of them.
Thanks!
