Illegal Of The Day Minnesota

Not much to say about Minnesota.

Except: I once played pool with Minnesota Fats. Not a big deal. He was making an appearance at a Cincinnati pool hall. Some customers won a chance to play with him in a contest. Some paid a fee to shoot a game with him. I paid. vbg Nine ball, customers got the break. If you could run the table, you would beat him. I just wanted to be able to tell people I beat Minnesota Fats at pool. NOT, vbg actually IMO he layed down so I had more than I shot at him. vbg It was a fun thing.

Enough of that:

Minnesota:

Dutch's Club
26 Washington Ave South
Minneapolis
Open 1918-Chips delivered 1918 & 1922

This one was the 1922 order. 1918 were DC front and back.

Recently found the 1922 one scanned on ebay. I’ve had the DC front and back 1918 for several years. It was a gift from David Sarles. These were in use prior to what I refer to as “The era of the illegals.”
ID USPC records and TGT.

Radisson Hotel

Bill Vaughn
George VanHoven
46 S. 6th St.
Minneapolis MN
1939

I got this one in 2009.
This one needs a little research. I feel certain it will come back to an illegal joint. IMO two names on an order card usually come back to a joint. I’ll add it to the list of things to do. vbg
