I once found a few of the yellow Phoenix Club chips w/o an inlay on one side where the recess was a series of concentric circles deeply concave. When I returned home I peeled back the inlay on another Phoenix (also a yellow chip and in damaged condition) to find its recess was a rater smoothe waffle texture and level (not flush; level) with the rim of the core.
