Several years ago, this Chip Board icon ( ) was created and given to Greg for a specific type/category of messages on TheChipBoard. While Greg went ahead and added the icon to the then growing list of icons, he did not specify it's intended purpose and it has since been used for quite a few different categories of messages. To this date, I doubt that it has been used for it's designed purpose, which is the challenge of this contest.
Up for grabs here, to the first full and complete answer to the question below, is your choice of one of the following 5 chips:
(This is a fantasy chip.)
(One chip, both sides shown)
(These are both fantasy chips.)
This is the question to be answered:
For what kind of message posts was this icon ( ) developed for? Answers must be detailed to the specific type of messages.
And, for extra credit (no pun intended) what do the design elements of the icon represent?
The fine print: I am the sole judge as to what the correct answer is. I have told this to one other person, who is disqualified from answering. This contest will close whenever I want it to. Multiple guesses are permitted, however, you must allow at least two other guesses before you can re-post, or wait 12 hours before posting again, whichever happens first. Lastly, I reserve the right to change/modify the rules if I omitted something.
Good Luck and I express my thanks to the donor of the prize pool, who has placed these chips and more on consignment with me.
