I saw the chip in the case and had to have it. The lady in the booth couldn't tell me the price and said her husband would be back in an hour. An hour later we went back. I told Marlene before we got there my max was $50. Now, I don't have a clue what Ivory Chips should cost. Met the guy and he said $45 and I said sold. Yeah, now Rog, you forgot to get a better price. Thought of it later, wanted the chip too bad I guess. Some kind of buyer I am. Anyway, I sent an email to Rich Hanover he will help me get it figured out. Chances are I paid too much but, guess what, I don't care this time and now I have my first beautiful Ivory Chip. Also, probably my last. I do have a couple of clay chips that are similar. A plain with Engraved Rose PL-FT Variation and Monarch Rose PL-GM Variation. I love these Antique Chips.
So, who else would like to share the passion of collecting these beautiful unique chips? If you are someone who is contemplating collecting these beauties please send me an email at rdevree1@sbcglobal.net and I would like to send you some chips to help you get started. I got my start from a couple different people. Smitty is the person who really helped me the most once I got a start. I would like to do the same for someone else. I don't have near as many to send as Smitty did for me.
Waitin for an email.
