Hi, my name is Dan and I am 25 years old from Minnesota. I have loved Las Vegas for as long as I can remember and on my last trip (June '09) I began collecting casino chips from all of the casinos that I visited. I have now decided that I want to expand my chip collection and turn this into a hobby. The only problem is that I really don't know the first thing about chip collecting, values, fakes, etc.... Any advice would be greatly appreciated to help me get started in this very exciting hobby. Thanks a lot. Dan

P.S. I'm not begging or asking for handouts but money is tight for me (like most people) so if anyone has any spare chips laying around(I don't care how common they are or condition) I would love to have them to get my collection started on the right foot. Also I would be very interested in any other Vegas memorabilia you may have laying around and books on chip collecting.
