I saw the other day on the Neon Museum's facebook page that the signs were being slowly moved back into what will be the park displaying them and went to see the work myself today-
8-9 foot white cinderblock walls nearly surround the entire site, and brick accented pillars are being constructed around the main entrance at the corner of LVB and Cashman Center. Some neon signs that havent been assembled in years are being readied for further restoration. (Note the vintage Stardust signage visible beyond the green tarped fence)
The facebook page says they hope for a limited tour schedule beginning in september. The original Silver Slipper was restored and mounted in the median of LVB in front of the future museum a few months' ago. (without Howard Hughes' photographic spy..... lol)
