You are right the undrilled Crystal Bay's list for substantially more than $200 per chip. I think alot of collectors, myself included, are scared of the undrilled Crystal Bay chips because we know almost all were drilled and then one person in particular found a way to re-do the plastic so that it was almost impossible to tell they had been repaired. Only close inspection of the chip would give a hint. And only then if you knew what to look for.

I'm sure there are collectors who have been around longer than me that have undrilled chips they know are original but until repairs started being made a few years back I had never seen an undrilled Crystal Bay.

I can't answer why they sold so cheap but the fact many were repaired may have had an impact.
