I have recently been entrusted with the final remnants of a collection in a consignment agreement. I am in the process of inventoring all the items, after which I'll begin the process of presenting items . These offerings may be via TheChipBoard, eBay or by email contact to interested collectors. Nearly all of the items available (mostly chips and tokens) are examples not in my collection, so seeing some of these items first-hand is rather impressive!
As an example, I have a modest $1 slot machine token collection and an even more modest $5 slot machine token, but I did not realize that there are (were) Two Dollar slot machine tokens that are very similar in size and weight to the $1 tokens. Here is a scan of the Landmark's Two Dollar slot machine token:
(Franklin Mint, 1967. Size is slightly larger than one dollar tokens.)
While NOT available just yet, I thought that I would show it here, as well as some other items that will be available later from this consignment sale. Does this promote the future offering? You bet! But at the same time this "stuff" is new to me and I thought I would virtually share some of it before getting down to business.
Thanks for looking and if you have comparable items, by all means, please post them here!
Jim
