I was looking at my $5 bank Club chip and noticed one side has the faint outline of the hot stamp slightly offset from the first. The other side shows no sign of this. Is this a double strike? I know it is tough to see in my scan, but the "nk" in the full size chip has a definite shadow but no color. With chip in hand and a magnifying glass I see it all over the hot stamp. Any suggestions on how I can show this better? The other thing is the offset is larger at the top of the chip,. Like it turned slightly before second strike.
