... It's about time some more people in the Dallas area get into it (I'm in Plano). I take it you collect $1 denomination chips?! I myself, collect just the Las Vegas $5 house chips. As for advice on collecting newer/cleaner chips, I think everyone has already posted everything that one can do. I always hated waiting in line at the cashiers cage, so I would go to an empty blackjack table and buy some chips, play one hand, leave. If there were no lines, I went up and simply asked for whatever I wanted; give me $100 in $1 chips; $100 in $5 chips; $100 in $25 chips, etc. take the good ones out and either play the rest, or cash them back in. I have never had an issue with any casino, at the cashiers, poker room, and/or table games in getting chips, however, you never know when you might catch some one on a bad day.
