I am operating under Windows 7 and using MS Internet Explorer 8. I had been unable to change my preferences or create new ones. The TCB website never recognized that I left the site and returned again, so I never got any new posts flagged as NEW.

This change which puts The Chipboard on a list of trusted sites solved my problems and in my opinion, doesn't open your PC to any unacceptable security risks.
