It is best to go to a poker room if the casino has one. There you can buy a full rack, take out the good ones and cash in the rest no problem.

I always tip and have a single or two with the money I am about to purchase chips with. Sometimes more, depending what I am doing. Anyway if they do not sell me chips for what ever reason, I show the singles and say something like well company policy just cost you a toke. After I get what I need at the craps table I will cash in the rest and again if it's the same person comment, well the craps crew just got your toke.
