Not being one to give up on a problem .... I kept investigating...

the lowest rate os NOT 1lb 8oz... it is a RANGE of 1oz - 8oz

WITHOUT glasses it APPEARS to be 1 lb 8oz

Setting the CORRECT weight seems to work much better- IMAGINE THAT!!
