Well, my request for the Sioux City Sue was filled, so I thought I would post one more that I would really like to get. It is the Emerald Lady Riverboat in Burlington, Iowa. It was open from 5/91 to 7/92. The chip just says "Steamboat casino river cruises" on it with a small graphic of a steamboat.

This boat came to Burlington shortly after I got out of the Marines. It was one of the first Riverboats in Iowa and you had to pay $35 to get to take a 2 hour cruise so you could gamble. Back then, they had a loss limit of $200 per cruise so they gave you coupons that you had to turn in when purchasing your chips/slot tokens. I can remember heading to the cage to cash in chips and having people offer $100 for my $50 in chips. Once the limits were removed and Biloxi opened its market, the Emerald Lady headed south and Catfish Bend came in to replace her.
