If you are looking at the index page for this bb, you will see 'My Preferences' at the top.
Setting your preferences through that link either creates you a cookie or updates the one you already have.

I assumed that as I had posted that fact in a ton of 'please read' posts over the past week that you had done that and were still having problems?
