Ginny sold the license to some folks who reopened the place as the Golden State Casino. They had several tables but just couldn't get the business. They closed a couple of years ago. It is now back to being Ginnny's second hand store but with no poker - at least as far as I know - I last stopped by about six months ago. It is not on the way from Tahoe to SF - if you are traveling from the South Shore you'll be going down Highway 50 and will pass the newer Red Hawk Casino in Placerville. If you are traveling from the North Shore you would probably be going down Highway 80 and pass fairly close (about 5-6 miles) to Thunder Valley.
