Derek didn't wait for my reply, which was a yes, I would buy them.
Instead he sold them to someone else, more than likely to someone willing to pay more.
Now I also agree that some, most, or all of this should have not been posted and done privately, but since my e-mail back to Derek stating that I wanted to purchase them, he has yet to reply to that e-mail. He does however reply on the board, so I continued on with the inquiry here. As he stated for the record, he replied back to me and offered them to me at a higher price [which I was willing to pay], but before I could respond to his counter-offer, they were sold to someone else. Doesn't sound very ethical to me, but hey, that is just my opinion.
