¶ material: substantial composition with a goodly amount of plastic, thick like a poker or casino chip, very sturdy/substantial -- not a light plastic chip, makes a nice sound when dropped on a table.
¶ each one says on one side: LOOM (Loyal Order of Moose, a fraternal organization), picture of Moose, PAP ("Purity, Aid, Progress"). Other side says "Good For 2-1/2¢ In Trade."
¶ this could be trade tokens, or ordered for use as poker chips so they could be claimed to be trade tokens in case of police raid. Often used as both.
