Could very well have been one in Toledo but I never heard of it. No known chips I am aware of. I very seldom use TGT. I like to do my own research. I send any ID's I get to TGT authors and have for years.
Purple Gang had most of the gambling in Toledo. The Purple Gang had Toledo in the prohibition era which ended in 1933. Cleveland had the Newport KY area.
Both went to gambling after 1933 for revenue.

They generally stayed out of each others way. Most of the time.
Harold Nason (Elmwood and Arrow Head Inn) shot and killed two of the Purple gang in eastern KY pre 1933. They were trying to hijack Harolds whiskey. As far as we know he is the only guy that killed members of the Purple gang and lived to tell about it, thanks to Moe Dalitz.
