TAMPA - The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is planning to use a new issue of chips in its poker room starting Wednesday.

The old ones won't be accepted at the poker tables after the deadline. But until Sept. 30, customers with the old-style poker chips may exchange them for new ones or cash at any casino cage at the casino, 5223 N. Orient Road.

This does not apply to any of the table games (blackjack, pai gow poker, baccarat) chips now in play.
