Has to be really off center

Maybe if the center inlay overlapped the mold devices it would be more desirable, assuming it's not an oversize inlay to start with. Generally, I consider mis-centered inlays to just be sloppy workmanship and would think the chip would be less desirable.

Errors are generally considered to be chips with something major gone wrong in the manufacturing process like wrong mold, wrong inlay or hotstamp on one (or both) sides, inserts missing or out of sequence, inlay with a color completely missing in printing or chip material the wrong color, for example.

I guess the real answer is will TCR guys consider adding it to the catalog as an error chip. If not, you have a hard time convincing another collector you have an error grin.
