Tonight's win for Denmark against Cameroon means we have the first confirmed teams in and out of the World Cup - Netherlands are definitely through as their 2 wins so far guarantee them a top 2 place and so through to the next round - congrats to Jim Follis who will have at least one team through to the final 16.

Of course, a guaranteed place means one team is definitely not through, which is Al Plecas's Cameroon - sorry Al, but the 2 losses from 2 games means Cameroon can't qualify now.

Anyone watching the games will have noticed a whole load of surprise results - France likely to be out after one draw and one loss (one of my 2 teams), Spain (untaken) losing to Switzerland (also untaken), Germany (David Spragg) still probably through even though they lost to Serbia (nice win for Riverboat Rick) and just don't get me started on group C favourites England (Judy Wuerth has my home team) now facing a final must-win game against Slovenia to ensure progression to the next round - I have the day off work booked, and a fridge full of alcohol to celebrate or drown my sorrows with!!!!

I'll keep the list updated as the remaining 2nd games are played over the next few days and then we move into the final games next week.
