the real problem with sitting around a poker table with your friends is that the only person who actually makes any money is the house.

a player or two may win but each hand of rake takes money off the table to the house.

I once played at a "home game" at the commerce and at the end of the night everybody was down even though nobody did a hit and run and actually left the table!
