Just came across the second slot token from Golden Nugget, Las Vegas. Dates to the late 1980's and appears to be enameled and coated with a clear film. The design appears to be exactly the same as the usual one on the left. Both are gold inlay.

I didn't know they were doing enameled tokens that long ago. Maybe a prototype? Maybe done more recently?

The inlay sure makes for a striking token, but with the plastic coating, I doubt it would have worked in a slot machine as they were required to have a gold surface in those days.
