I'm thinking about sueing E-bay
I sold a item (not chip related) 500.00 final bid 30.00 Shipping (Auto computer testing kit) C/s paid pay Pal, I mailed USPO w/ Del. Conf. tracking # shows Delivered at correct address. Buyer makes a claim he never recieved item. I respond with sending him PO reciept, and tracking # explaining item Del. He still say's never recieved, he lives in a house in TX. He runs a PO search as I did gets a case # as I did PO tells us both item delivered date and time. Well guess what e-bay sends him 530.00, and charges my acct. for these funds. They ruled in buyers favor. We both had long term perfect acct's with over 2000 pos. feed and no neg. E-bay sent me the reason for ruling, which is written in resolution policies, that if the item sold was OVER 299.99 the seller must have a signed reciept for proof item was delivered. This is crazy, anyone with this knowledge, that recieved an expensive item that was not signed for could make a claim and get a refund. (at least one time). I told e-bay I want name address of e-bays atty, and I'll let a judge deciede what is fair. Not sure I will follow thru, but I'm mad. I never knew of this rule, as I doubt many do. I don't want to loose my e-bay excellent acct. of 10 yrs, and 2300 pos. feeds, that I worked so hard for, it just dosen't seem right to me. I have never had a problem like this before.
