A few years ago, at the Argosy Casino in Lawrenceburg, Indiana , I saw hat and cane chips used in a "Learning how to play Craps session. They were chips with the large sunburst hot stamp. Since these chips were used by a large casino, who used exclusively Paulson chips at the time, I figured the hot stamp was from Paulson as well. To my knowledge, I have only seen this hot stamp on Paulson chips until yesterday. At a flea market I saw the pictured chips. I'm 99% sure the paste on denominations are over the hot stamp one side of each chip. I noticed a diamond mold I didn't have with the hot stamp. My question.....Is this a hotstamp every maker/ distributor used or was it just Paulson's? Did Paulson ever make a diamond mold chip?
