The first casinos to get tables will be Presque Isle in Erie, Rivers in Pittsburgh and Meadows, just outside Pittsburgh. Mount Airy in Paradise Township will get table games on July 11.
Mohegan Sun in Wilkes-Barre and Hollywood outside Harrisburg will also start July 11. Parx Casino and Harrah's Casino, both outside Philadelphia, will begin July 16.
Each casino will be allowed to have a limited amount of tables play on the first day, and if a team of Gaming Board officials deems the test a success, they'll be able to open their tables to the public two days after the test.
The first Pennsylvania slot machines opened in 2007, but state legislators did not approve tables games until earlier this year.
