We know from all recovered records from the old distributors that the "non-duplicative" promise was total BS. This included NV casinos initial logos.
They never hesitated from selling "non-duplicative" logos to other people in other parts of the country. IMO they thought, who would ever know if they lived 800 miles from each other. They would also sell blanks to anyone that wanted them.
I am not saying that happened with C&S because I have never had a lot of interest in C&S chips.
Same goes for dice. They would make dice for a casino then make crooked dice same logo for anyone that ask for them. In a lot of cases the casino had straight dice and crooked dice made at the same time. This includes many NV casinos.
Recap: The old distributors had very little respect for what they advertised and no respect for their customers!!!!
