Really sorry to hear that. Losing a home has to be the worst. My oldest daughter got divoraced in January and wanted to buy a house for her and the kids. The guy who got foreclosed on was told by the bank in January that it would cost $4000 to get back in their good graces but that they would refinance him. Two days before the auction he was trying for finalize the refinance when they told him he needed $7000 not $4000. He had assets he could have sold but didn't have the cash and lost the house. In a word the whole system is broken.
