For the past few days the chipboard will NOT keep my cookies!!

It doesn't have my name when I first click on. So, I put my name and email address in and as long as I don't close the window, it's fine. Once I close the window, next time I come to the board, it doesn't show my name or how many new messages have posted since my last visit, image url is gone, etc...

Two days ago I got into my computer utilities thing (or settings or whatever...) to see if my cookies had somehow been disabled...they hadn't. I found a place where I could tell it to always accept cookies from a specified site, and told it to always allow chipboard cookies. That didn't solve the problem.

Yesterday I created a profile on the chipboard. That didn't solve the problem either.

suggestions?? or has the chipboard divorced me forever
