1994 was my first trip to Vegas and we stayed at the Excalibur. Their $5 chip was my first chip that started it all for me. On the last day of our vacation and really at the last hour of our stay, I was playing a $0.25 draw poker machine and was playing the max. After numerous hands played, all of a sudden the bells and whistles go off. I look at the screen and see a Royal Flush on the deal. When the attendant pays me off, he tells me the odds of hitting a Royal Flush on the deal is like 600,000 to one. That $1,000.00 sure helped pay for a lot of chips I accumulated during that stay. I have, however, have stayed at the Excalibur one other time. It's an okay place to stay.
