Old Cards and Old Gambling Joint question

Hello! I'm a collector of mainly "Illegal" gambling chips and items from the heyday of the local clubs and bars along the Ohio River. I'm only been collecting for about a year, and have over a 100 chips so far along with post cards, pictures, new paper articles, matchbooks, tokens, and lots of dice. What I'm not sure of are cards. Poker type cards used in these clubs. I would assume they would be just normal everyday deck of cards from most likely US Playing Card during the 20s thru 50s.

Has anyone seen special decks for upscale clubs? I have two, but I think they may be bogus. If they are, I'm not out much since I bought them for 5 bucks. One is a Woodland Inn deck (Walton Ky), the other is a 633 Club (Newport Ky) both were made by GEMACO. (Was Gemaco even around in the 50s?) Both decks are the same height as present day cards, but are more narrow, and feel thin. They both have special backs with the joints logo on them.

Anyone know more about this subject?
